Abu Dhabi Crown Prince to Meet PM Modi, Strengthen India-UAE Strategic Partnership
Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, is set to embark on his first official visit to India from September 9 to 10, 2024. This two-day visit, at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, will see Sheikh Khaled accompanied by a high-level delegation comprising ministers, senior officials, and business leaders from the UAE.
The visit marks a significant moment in the India-UAE relationship, which has flourished in recent years under the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. Sheikh Khaled’s agenda includes key meetings with Indian leadership, starting with PM Modi on September 9, where discussions will cover a broad range of topics, from political and economic collaboration to energy, technology, education, and culture. He will also meet President Droupadi Murmu and pay homage to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat.
On September 10, the Crown Prince will travel to Mumbai, where he will participate in a high-profile Business Forum aimed at further enhancing economic cooperation between India and the UAE. The forum will bring together business leaders from both nations to explore new opportunities for collaboration in emerging sectors.
The UAE government has expressed its enthusiasm for this visit, highlighting Sheikh Khaled’s discussions with Indian officials as a key opportunity to build upon the already strong economic ties between the two countries.
